Lynda Goodier at Bay Tree Place

Bay Tree Place is run by a lady who has been diagnosed with breast cancer herself.
She has used this experience, and her vision to provide a place for fellow suffers to come together and share their personal experiences.
Come along and meet like minded people who have shared your diagnosis and treatment.   Whatever your needs, the quiet atmosphere provides support and comfort for people and carers who have been touched by breast cancer, and other types of cancer.
A happy ambiance will always be found at Bay Tree Place, along with a welcoming smile.
Sensitivity and empathy are qualities which people will find when they come to see us.
The therapeutic qualities found in the gardens at Bay Tree Place, immensely helped the owner, come to terms with her own cancer diagnosis and treatment.
She now has chosen to share this with others. The beauty and serenity of the gardens have a calming effect on the senses and allow visitors to be at one with themselves.
Each special corner of the gardens have their own unique name like 'Tree Root Corner', or 'Sunrise'.
Visitors can choose a special place within the garden to sit and have refreshments, (weather permitting), otherwise there is ample indoor seating within the house.
A large picture window overlooks the gardens which can be appreciated by visitors whatever the weather brings.
Discussion groups and activities are also available.
Visitors are encouraged to use the resource centre, which consists of Macmillan literature and audio equipment.
Refreshments are provided at a low cost, and all proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support
    Wheelchair access is available.
    All communities are welcome.

If you have an hour to spare and would like to come and spend time with us, either doing some light gardening or making some teas and coffees then we would like to meet you.  You can leave a message on our guestbook page.  Thank you.
